Firefox is now one of several browsers compatible with ETO!

Just like when using Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, there are certain settings that may occasionally need resetting to help ETO continue to function at its best. ETO Users who prefer Firefox may find that clearing their cookies, site data, and cache can help fix certain issues.

Firefox Settings Reset

Step 1 – Click on the three horizontal line/hamburger menu in the top right of browser.

Step 2 – Select "Options" next to the gear icon.

Step 3 – Select "Privacy & Security" on the left side.

Step 4 – Select "Clear Data..." under the "Cookies and Site Data" heading.

Step 5 – Select both "Cookies and Site Data" and "Cached Web Content" and click "Clear".

Step 6 – Under the "Permissions" heading, make sure "Block pop-up windows" is unchecked.

Step 7 (optional) – Select the checkbox next to "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" under the "Cookies and Site Data" heading.

Important: It is best practice for all users to log out of ETO before closing their browser window or anytime they intend to be away from their computer for extended periods of time. Users should also only ever work in ETO in one tab or window and avoid concurrent sessions, as it often results in bad data across the Enterprise.
