Accessibility Settings in ETO Results in BO 4.3

Accessibility mode

Analysis provides an accessibility mode for users with visual or motor impairments. To enable accessibility mode, perform these steps:

  1. Open the Settings in the SAP BusinessObjects BI launch pad.
    ​

  2. Open the Application Preferences page
    ​

  3. Click Analysis, edition for OLAP.
    ​

  4. Select the Accessibility Mode check box.

  5. Log off the BI launch pad, and log back on.

In accessibility mode, tooltips contain more verbose text for screen reader support. Also, the keyboard actions described later in this section are available in accessibility mode.

Color schemes and fonts

To assist users, Analysis provides several color schemes. These options are available from the Properties panel.

  1. Open the Settings in the SAP BusinessObjects BI launch pad.
    ​

  2. Select Appearance

Tab

Move the focus to the next region in the crosstab.

These are the regions that you can access by pressing the Tab key:

  • Column members area

  • Row members area

  • Cell area

Arrow keys

In the crosstab, move the focus one cell up, down, left, or right. In the metadata explorer, move the focus up or down, or expand and collapse objects.

Spacebar

Select the cell or object that has focus.

Shift + Spacebar

Extend the cell selection from the existing selected cells to the currently selected cell.

Ctrl + Spacebar

Select multiple member headers.

+

Expand a parent member or object.

-

Collapse a parent member or object.

Shift + arrow keys

Extend the selection to include more cells.

Ctrl + F4

Close a crosstab or chart component.

Shift + F10

Select the cell that has focus, and then display the context (right-click) menu.

Ctrl + F10

Maximize or Restore a crosstab or chart component.

Esc

Perform any of these actions:

  • Close the context menu

  • Close the drop-down list

  • Close or end other actions
