Administrators can include responses previously recorded in other Participant, Entity, or General TouchPoints by adding an Element Cross Reference to any TouchPoint.

The element will auto-populate with the response most recently recorded for the selected TouchPoint and TouchPoint element. If a new response is recorded after the current TouchPoint has been saved, the current TouchPoint will need to be resubmitted to be updated.

This element does not respect TouchPoint security, so while the element does not show identifying information, there is a risk that users will see a response their security level does not typically allow.

To mitigate this risk, there is a check box option to hide the element. Hidden elements will not be viewed by end users during data entry, but the data will be present and available for export when running TouchPoint reports.

There are three other checkboxes on this menu:

  • Filter for general responses?

    • When selected, the element cross reference will populate based off the most recent general (program) response for the selected TouchPoint.

  • Filter for responses based on the current program?

    • When selected, the element cross reference will populate based off the most recent response for the selected TouchPoint recorded in the current program.

  • Filter for responses across the enterprise?

    • When selected, the element cross reference will populate based off the most recent response for the selected TouchPoint recorded across the whole enterprise.

Note: All three options can be selected, however the Enterprise scope will override the Program scope if this is done.
