Overview

This release includes one enhancement to data privacy settings in ETO and two high-priority defects for HMIS and Referrals.

Enhancement:

Sensitive Data Masking for Social Security Numbers

Full Social Security numbers are no longer automatically displayed in ETO. Instead, all accounts are set to mask the number via the Manage My Site page under the Security Settings tab. Administrators can update the setting if needed. By default, only the last four digits will be visible to protect user privacy and reduce the risk of data exposure. This update supports compliance with regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA.

Fixes:

HMIS Assessments | Missing Conditions

The "Default Disabling Condition" rule within ETO HMIS Assessments has been corrected to include all necessary conditions. This ensures accurate tracking of disabling conditions in alignment with FY2024 Data Standards.

Referrals | Family Relationships

We resolved an issue where family relationship data was not preserved during internal referrals between Sites. Family relationships are now correctly retained in Site-to-Site transfers, supporting smoother transitions and accurate participant data across Sites.

Note: It is expected behavior that ETO will match family relationships in the old and new Sites with identical spelling and spacing, ignoring upper and lower cases. If your family relationships do not match using this criteria, they will remain blank upon transfer.

For example, if you have the family relationship "Grandparent" available in the old Site, it will match with a "grandparent" relationship in the new Site. It will not match with "grand parent" or "grand-parent". If there is no matching relationship in the new Site, the family relationship will be blank.
