In the Layout Settings section, with a column or cell selected, you can change the object width and height.

In the Layout Settings section with the entire table selected, you can set up the relative positioning of the tables to meet the margins or to meet the edges of other tables.

In the Appearance section (only for formatting cells), you can give the object's "Padding", or extra space.

Additionally, check the border to make sure there are larger areas of white space.

With the entire table highlighted you can also click once more into the table to drag it around the report to adjust where it sits.

Step 4 – Adjusting Text Fields

Finally, you may need to adjust the size of the font of your text.
